There are a number of ways you may choose to work with me that are available to purchase or book through my website. The terms and conditions in this document apply to all my services and products unless alternative terms are explicitly stated.

 I offer:

Naturopathic advice and recommend professional natural medicines for you to purchase at the time of, and after our naturopathic consultation, based on the information the client has provided me at that time. The recommendations are based on the best of my knowledge being the most suitable for the client as an individual at that time.

My intention in offering these services and/or products is to help you improve your overall health and to help assist with the symptoms and conditions you have concerns with and have discussed with me.

My Qualifications and Responsibility

Diploma of Applied Science - Bachelor of Naturopathy. Completed 1993

Diploma of Herbal Medicine - Completed 1993

 I am a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). As a member of ATMS I am required to keep my skills up to date with Continued Professional Development each year. Staying abreast of latest developments. I am committed to always taking all reasonable care and due diligence, committing to best practice.

Your Responsibility

Clients need to follow my recommendations of advice and dosages of natural medicines as recommended by me specifically for that individual client. These recommendations may differ from the dosages recommended by the manufacturers of products.

Important Information

All care is taken that the advice provided to you and the recommended products will work as quickly and as effectively as it is practicable. However, some client’s results may take longer than initially expected, as every person is treated individually. All care is taken and considered that the products are a good match for your requirements, however sometimes dosages may need to be modified to suit each client’s specific needs.

If for some reason, you purchase a product from me that for some reason is not as best suited to you as first expected - I will provide you a full credit for that product to use for another suitable product.

Payment Terms

Payment is to be made at the time of your appointment for your consultation fee and any products we discuss, and you agree to purchase.

I have eftpos facility - including Visa, MasterCard, and cash debit. Cash is also accepted. Bank transfer for purchase of products between consults by prior arrangement is available.

Delivery of Service and Shipping of Products

Consultations can either be face to face; by zoom or phone.

I will confirm our appointment 24-72 hours prior to our appointment time.

 If we are having a zoom appointment - I will email the client a zoom link ahead of our appointment.

If we are having a phone appointment, I will call the client on the number they have provided at our appointment time.

Products

Products can be purchased at the time of our appointment.

If you are wanting to purchase products in between our appointments, you can either pay and collect products from my clinic - at a mutually suitable time.

Alternatively, I can send products to you using Australia Post - Express Post.

There is also a Patient Ordering System - which I can explain in more detail at your appointment.

As all products are Professional Natural Medicines (Practitioner Strength Natural Medicines), I can only supply products to clients after having a consultation.

Appointment Policies

I will confirm our appointment, by text message between 24-72 hours prior to our appointment time.

When you receive your confirmation text please respond at your earliest convenience.

If you are aware ahead of this time, that you will not be able to keep our appointment, it is greatly appreciated that you provide as much notice as possible that you need to reschedule. This allows me the opportunity to offer that appointment time to another client.

I totally understand that circumstances can change within a short period of time. However please understand that if a client consistently and multiple times reschedules at short notice, they may not be offered another appointment time due to the disruption this causes me, my business and other clients. Often clients are waiting for appointments to become available but is not possible to rearrange their schedule at short notice to take up a cancellation appointment.

Refund Policy & Consumer Guarantees

I do not offer a refund, but I offer a credit to be used on my other products or services.

 If you feel that there is any problem with my services, please let me know within 24 hours or preferably before the end of our session. I would rather know that you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

Respectful Communication

If you would like to know more information or have specific questions on a topic I have addressed in one of my blogs or articles, please contact me via my email deb@noosanaturopath.com.au for more information. Often comments made on my blogs and articles are not brought to my attention.

The full names of clients who have written testimonials has been withheld for their privacy reasons.

Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

(i)            If either of us have any concerns arising out of these terms, your use of my website or my provision of products or services, we agree that we shall communicate with the intention of making a genuine effort to seek a win/win solution and resolve any dispute by negotiation and discussion.

(ii)          Please email me your concerns at your earliest convenience so I can address these concerns to the best of my ability.

(iii)         All information exchanged during this negotiation process or any subsequent dispute resolution process, shall be regarded as “without prejudice” communications and shall be treated as confidential by everyone involved and their representatives, unless otherwise required by law.

(iv)         If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an independent accredited mediator, seeking online dispute resolution or mediation by telephone if we are not both in Queensland, Australia.

(v)          The mediator is to be appointed by agreement between us or, failing agreement within 21 days of the negotiation period ending, the person initiating the dispute will seek the appointment of a dispute resolution professional by the President of the Law Society of Queensland or similar neutral authority.

(vi)         We agree to share all the costs of mediation equally between us.

(vii)        We agree that neither of us will commence legal action until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.

(viii)       Everyone involved in the dispute agrees that they will not publicly or privately disparage any other party, or anyone associated with them, and will act in good faith to refrain from any conduct or communication which might reasonably be expected to interfere with any other party’s business or personal interests.

(ix)         This agreement is subject to the governing law of Queensland. Regardless of where you live in the world, you irrevocably agree that if the dispute resolution processes fail, the courts of Queensland, and the Commonwealth of Australia, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
